LOST...Everywhere
One of the most incredible adoption irregularities is currently occurring in the United States, known as the Re-homing cases. These involve the exchange of adopted children, usually international, which is not illegal in the vast majority of states, and parents who are not "satisfied with their purchase" can return them.
All of this is done through unregulated internet portals. Fashion show-like events are organised, where children are made up and paraded on a catwalk, while their qualities are described over the PA system expressing how they would enhance the daily live of potential adoptive parents.
These catwalks and returns, in some cases come up to four or five times and at the age of sixteen, the system stops taking care of them without any support. They are left to survive on their own.
